As a Quebec company, Indicia is proud to have a storefront in Terrebonne, and to occupy a 4,000 square foot space fully equipped to encourage collaboration between our different teams.
We believe that it is with this friendly collaboration between executives, analysts and researchers that we are able to deliver exceptional market research.
Our story
Based in Terrebonne, Indicia was founded in 2005 by Daniel Lemire, whose reputation in the industry, built on more than 30 years, is synonymous with meticulousness, precision, analytical innovation and guaranteed results.
Mr. Lemire's interest in geomarketing stems from his childhood and family background in the taxi industry in Montreal. His father, who introduced him to the city at a young age, helped him understand that the city was not static, but an entity that evolved over time, depending on a multitude of factors.
Years later, still to enrich his knowledge, Mr. Lemire completed a bachelor's degree in geography and a master's degree in geostatistics and carried out several geomarketing mandates within a consulting firm. However, Mr. Lemire's goal was to found his own company, Indicia; which to this day continues to build a solid reputation with the largest Quebec and Canadian companies, across many industries.
In 2025, the arrival of her daughter, Joëlle Lemire, brought a wind of renewal to the company with leadership qualities that matched her ambitions and a BBA in business intelligence, she plunged into the heart of the geomarketing business in order to one day take over the family business and continue to develop the company for years to come.
